Generic gacha math tools

Need a fixed-rate probability, pull conversion, savings pace, or deadline projection without selecting a game? These utilities use only the values you enter and disclose the formula on every page.

Gacha Currency to Pulls Calculator Convert a currency balance into whole pulls, using 160 per pull by default, and see total pulls plus leftover currency. Gacha Pity Remaining Calculator Check simple counter distance to a user-supplied cap without relying on game-specific banner rules or soft-pity estimates. Gacha Pull Savings Planner Convert a future pull target into a clear collection pace while keeping the assumptions entirely under your control. Banner Deadline Pull Planner Project how many pulls you will have by banner end from current savings, daily income, days left and weekly bonuses. At Least One Drop Probability Calculator Answer the basic “one or more” probability question with a stable closed-form calculation instead of repeated simulation. Copies Within Pulls Probability Calculator Model a multi-copy target with the binomial distribution rather than multiplying a single-hit percentage. Pulls Needed for a Target Chance Invert the usual probability formula to solve for pull count instead of testing budgets one by one. Featured Target Two-Stage Chance Calculator Separate “get the rarity” from “the rarity is the target” in a transparent constant-rate two-stage model. Gacha Reroll Success Probability Calculator Model repeated account-start attempts as groups of independent rolls without estimating how long the process takes. Gacha Banner Rate Comparison Calculator Compare complete session odds rather than looking only at the advertised per-pull percentages.

How pity works in each banner

Rules differ per game and per banner type. The biggest traps: Wuthering Waves caps at 80, not 90, and its weapon banner is guaranteed (no 50/50). Weapon/Light-Cone banners have earlier soft pity and their own guarantee mechanics.

FAQ

What is pity in gacha games?

Pity is a mercy counter: the more you pull without a top-rarity drop, the higher your odds become, up to a hard cap where the next pull is guaranteed. Genshin, Star Rail and ZZZ cap at 90; Wuthering Waves caps at 80.

What is soft pity?

Soft pity is the pull range (roughly the mid-70s for character banners) where the per-pull 5★ rate jumps sharply above its ~0.6% base. Most 5★ drops actually happen inside the soft-pity window, well before the hard cap.

What is the 50/50?

On a limited character banner, a 5★ has a 50% chance to be the featured unit. If you lose (get a standard 5★), the next 5★ is guaranteed to be the featured one — so worst case is two hard pities.

Does this calculator use real drop rates?

It uses published base-rate, hard-pity and featured-rate rules where available, plus a disclosed community soft-pity approximation for games that do not publish a complete per-pull curve. Results are deterministic under that model, not official guarantees.

Review the model, sources and known limits before using a result to plan pulls.
